La Serrania decaf has gone through a natural decaffeination process, using a sugarcane compound Ethyl Acetate (E.A). Ethyl Acetate is biologically derived from the fermentation of sugarcane mixed with acetic acid. This solution is used to soak the coffee, acting as a natural solvent to extract the caffeine. The solution is then heated to ethyl acetates evaporation temperature of 70 degrees Celsius.
The EA process helps preserve most of the original flavours of the coffee while adding fruity notes to the cup.

Filter ~ 1:16 ratio (20g coffee - 320ml water)
Espresso ~ 1:2 ratio (22g dose, 45g yield)
Recommended for espresso.
